A journey started in 2012, soon to be completed in 2016.

On June 4, 2012 Sharon and Tim Bridgman set off from the North Cape of Norway to cycle around the world to raise awareness and support of ShelterBox. After 21,000 miles, climbing over 284,000 meters through 26 countries they reached Bolivia where, in 2014, Sharon was hit by a truck and killed instantly.

After taking several months off, Tim knew he had to return and complete the quest he and Sharon started. Tim is currently in the United States, cycling through the Pacific Northwest, and then onwards to Alaska where he will complete his journey. As of May 2, 2016, Tim has cycled through 39 countries, covered nearly 33,000 miles, climbed 500 km (100 km higher than the International Space Station), and been an inspiration to countless people along the way with his story of hope, loss, courage, and fortitude.

Inspired by this story, an anonymous donor has generously agreed to match the first $10,000 raised. Please donate in honor of Tim and Sharon's journey. Your donation is 100% tax-deductible.
